How to Make a Booking

We charge a returnable £150 deposit to secure a booking which also acts as a Good Housekeeping bond.

All payments are by Bank Transfer.

Full payment has to be made six weeks prior to occupancy.

Bluebell (the name of our great grandfather’s fishing boat) is a traditional two storey detached cottage standing in an elevated position in the historic and pretty centre of Corrie Village. The cottage was built in c1870 by our great grandfather and has remained in the same family ownership throughout. The cottage is 6 miles north of Brodick which is the main ferry terminal.

Access is up steps and a gravel path and is unsuitable for people with mobility problems. Parking can be accessed at the Port or near Ferry Rock.
Bed linen and tea towels are provided but please bring own bath towels.
Saturday to Saturday changeovers
Ground floor heating is night storage heaters and multifuel stove. Bedrooms have individual electric heaters.
Car reservation on the ferry is recommended in high season.
The entire house has been fully refurbished and insulated.
Large garden with views of the Clyde.
Bluebell is a NO SMOKING site.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Ground Floor

Entrance Hall coat hooks and with doorway to:

Bathroom:
Bath with electric shower unit, WC, wash hand basin, heater.

Kitchen:
Wall and floor units, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine/dryer, iron, ironing board, and clothes airer, USB sockets. Extending table and chairs.

Sitting Room:
Furnished with sofas, multi-fuel stove, WiFi, Smart TV, CD/Radio, board games, books, maps, dining table and chairs in bay window with panoramic views of the Clyde to view basking sharks, dolphins, sea birds and ships.


First Floor

Landing:
With all rooms off, skylight and coat hooks.

Bedroom 1:
Double bed, chests of drawers and hanging space.

Bedroom 2:
Twin beds and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3:
Single bed, velux window and built in shelving.


Outside Area

There is a lawned front garden with bench, table and chairs and a gravelled pathway leading to a path and steps down to the roadside.

There is a ‘drying green’ next to the front garden.
