   Bluebell is a beautiful quaint cottage with stunning views.  It had everything we needed including a secure garden for the dog. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back at some point.

   A rather belated review - we visited in June '22. A wonderful week in this cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Superb quiet location above the other cottages. Our first visit, but we hope not our last.

   This is a wonderful cottage to stay in. It is set slightly up a hill and behind and above the roadside cottages, with steps leading up to the property from the road and the views from the dining table back across the sea to Scotland are fantastic.
It is most comfortable, warm, the hosts give a lot of attention to the detail of staying in their house which has been beautifully refurbished and they are keen for you to enjoy.
It is easy to get anywhere on the island and particularly well placed if you are keen mountain walkers. We are pleased to highly recommend Bluebell Cottage.

   Great place, so comfortable (living room and the beds!), so beautiful (just look at the sunrise pics!) and a well kitted out kitchen too. Solid fuel burner always a treat. New TV & WiFi was excellent considering the location. Personally loved the fact that it was not right on the road (peaceful & private); but those with mobility issues would need to consider the path up from the road.

The kids loved the wee bench in the garden and we saw a red squirrel 2m from the kitchen window.

Excellent location for exploring the island, whether by walking, cycling or car. Because we visited during covid19  the owners and landlady were excellent in view of cleaning precautions and  requirements. 3 mins down to the hotel which at the time was sadly shut so couldn't visit for a drink/bar meal. The fish restaurant did take-out just further down and was superb.
