The history of Bluebell
Corrie, Isle of Arran
Bluebell (the name of our great grandfather’s fishing boat) is a traditional two storey detached holiday cottage standing in an elevated position in the historic and pretty centre of Corrie, on the Isle of Arran.
The cottage was built in c1870 by our great grandfather and has remained in the same family ownership throughout. The cottage is 6 miles north of Brodick which is the main ferry terminal.

The facilities at Bluebell Holiday Cottage Isle of Arran
Bedrooms
Bluebell holiday cottage can accommodate up to 5 people. There is a king size bed in the main room, with twin beds and a single bed in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms respectively.
The sitting room is furnished with sofas, a cosy multifuel stove, Smart TV and CD/radio player. It also has a dining table and chairs in the bay window with panoramic views of the Clyde.
The bathroom at Bluebell holiday cottage Isle of Arran has a bath with overhead electric shower unit, toilet, hand wash basin and heater for those cooler mornings and evenings!
The Ferry Rock is close by and this was for decades the arrival and departure point for visitors coming to Corrie from ‘doon the watter’ and Glasgow beyond.
