Bluebell (the name of our great grandfather’s fishing boat) is a traditional two storey detached holiday cottage standing in an elevated position in the historic and pretty centre of Corrie, on the Isle of Arran.
The cottage was built in c1870 by our great grandfather and has remained in the same family ownership throughout. The cottage is 6 miles north of Brodick which is the main ferry terminal.

Bluebell holiday cottage can accommodate up to 5 people. There is a king size bed in the main room, with twin beds and a single bed in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms respectively.
The kitchen is well equipped, with oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, and full washing and drying facilities.
The sitting room is furnished with sofas, a cosy multifuel stove, Smart TV and CD/radio player. It also has a dining table and chairs in the bay window with panoramic views of the Clyde.
The bathroom at Bluebell holiday cottage Isle of Arran has a bath with overhead electric shower unit, toilet, hand wash basin and heater for those cooler mornings and evenings!
Corrie benefits from the Corrie Hotel which is approximately 300 yards from Bluebell and Mara Fish Bar & Deli.
The Ferry Rock is close by and this was for decades the arrival and departure point for visitors coming to Corrie from ‘doon the watter’ and Glasgow beyond.
Been 2 years running. Great views. Good size for a family of 5

Great place, so comfortable (living room and the beds!), so beautiful (just look at the sunrise pics!) and a well kitted out kitchen too. Solid fuel burner always a treat. New TV & WiFi was excellent considering the location. Personally loved the fact that it was not right on the road (peaceful & private); but those with mobility issues would need to consider the path up from the road.... Would return in a heartbeat....

Bluebell cottage was a home away from home. It was the perfect size for 4 adults but could easily fit 5. The location of Bluebell was the best in Corrie as we had the breathtaking view from our breakfast table and also in every room of the cottage. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit the prefect Isle of Arran.
